We are an independent family run business, with over 30 years experience in the trade. We are a substantial stock holder, enabling us to deliver swiftly and efficiently to any location. We also have a showroom, which provides our customers with the opportunity of overseeing their products before making their purchase. Q 2. How can I place an order?
You can place orders in 3 easy ways at your convenience, either over the internet, Instore or by phone.
Q 3. What is the order process?
Simply browse our on line catalogue and click on "Buy" to any items you wish to buy, these items can be removed later if you wish. When you have finished shopping click on the "checkout" button which takes you to the order page. Enter your details and credit card information and send them to us via our secure server.
Q 4. What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards via our secure server and can accept payments over the telephone through our telephone payment service.
Q 5. Do World Electricals's prices include VAT?
All our prices are inclusive of VAT at 20%, we are infact, not currently passing on the VAT increase of 2.5% to our customers and will be absorbing the cost ourselves (until further notice). We are also able to provide you with a full VAT receipt if you need to claim back the VAT
Q 6. What are World Electricals's delivery charges?
Wolys Direct offers a premiere , delivery service as standard on all items that are not able to be delivered by overnight courier. There is a standard free delivery for the West Midlands and £52 for Scotland. Some of the more remote Scottish postcodes will have an extra charge levied which will be detailed at the checkout.
Q 7. What happens if I cancel my order?
For items we hold in stock, if you cancel your order prior to it being despatched you will not incur any charges and a full refund will be applicable. If your order has already been despatched then you may be charged for delivery. For items that have been specially ordered or made a cancellation fee may be charged.
Q 8. How do your prices compare to others?
Under normal circumstances we firmly believe our prices can not be beaten. Please see our Price Promise for more details.
Q 9. When will you despatch my order?
The time it takes for an item to come in to stock can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Once we receive an item into our warehouse it is quality checked and re-packaged for onward transportation and usually despatched within 3 working days.
Q 10. When will my goods arrive?
Most of our items can be sent via a courier and are usually dispatched within 7 days. Some of our special order products will be sent via a specialist delivery service and depending upon your location this can take up to 4 - 6 weeks. You will be advised in advance of the scheduled delivery date.
Q 11. Do you have an after sales service?
We want you to be completely satisfied with the goods you have ordered and your shopping experience. #
Q 12. What happens to my personal details?
Your personal details will remain strictly confidential and not passed on to third parties. You have the option to be kept informed of new lines and special offers when placing an order.
Q 13. What is your returns policy?
We want you to be completely delighted with any purchase from World Electricals and goods can be returned within 7 days of delivery. For full details please see our Terms and Conditions
Q 14. Will my goods have a guarantee?
All goods carry a minimum 12 month manufacturer’s guarantee against materials and workmanship. If an item has an extended warrenty this will be listed in the item description.
Q 15. Do you supply samples or brochures?
Sorry but we don't provide samples or brochures.
Q 16. Do you send any confirmation emails?
You will receive two emails, one immediately after you place your order and a further update email, which will confirm the date for delivery of your furniture
Q 17. Can I specify a different delivery address to the billing address that is registered with my card?
Yes, we are more than happy to deliver to any alternative address that is specified by you. We do reserve the right however, to refuse any order that we suspect to be fraudulent or suspicious in anyway
Q 18. Do you deliver outside of the UK?
Yes we do and are happy to deal with any paperwork relating to the specific country (if applicable).
Q 19. How safe is it to give my credit card details online?
World Electricals uses a secure server and a system from SagePay for all credit and debit card payments and we have never had a reported incident involving credit card fraud using this system. In fact, SagePay is one of the largest internet payment processing organisatios in the world. We are confident that our security will keep shopping with us an enjoyable and safe experiance.
